The Co-operative Group Regional Programme Manager - Central RegionSeptember 2008 – May 2012 I lead the successful delivery of the Store Investment Programme, Facilities Management service and Asset Renewal
Programmes, for the North West and Central & Eastern Regions of the Food Retail business. This was for circa 1,000 food
retail stores within my region. Responsible for the successful
delivery of circa 225 food store refits pa totalling £65m capital expenditure, using a mixture of internal project managers
and support staff, plus external consultants, contractors and supply chains. Delivering significant investment in the following areas:

- Remedial works
following planned maintenance and statutory testing programmes
I led a large geographically dispersed teams remotely, and significantly

Programmes & Property Manager May 2003 – August 2008 Managed corporate change programmes at strategic level, including the major Office Centralisation Programme, bringing 300No staff from 3No existing sites into one new building.
Programme comprising 5No Projects over 3 years costing £7m capital:

and the Building Team to deliver the Business Plan objectives of the organisation.

of Building Surveyors in the North West Region, looking after operational property and the commercial leased property portfolio.
Undertook minor refurbishment schemes up to £150K and project managed regeneration schemes up to £1.9
million using multi disciplinary consultancy teams using third party grant funding.
Undertook dilapidations, asset
condition surveys, health & safety audits, refurbishment and conversion projects - mostly to Listed buildings and those
in conservation areas.
