I have used best practice programme management methodologies for
many years now, and have successfully delivered change and realised the required benefits.
I have found that MSP
(Managing Successful Programmes) is one of the very best methodologies for delivering major change is a structured way, its
helps to focus on the benefits required from the change and helps engage stakeholders into not only the reason for change
but also the tangible benefits that will accrue.
I have delivered the following major programmes using MSP:
Office Centralisation Programme - Congleton Borough Council
This
was a major property rationalisation programme from initial concept through to final occupation and handover to BAU.

Local Government Reorganisation Programme - for Cheshire
East Unitary Authority
This was a major corporate change programme bringing several local authorities
into a new Unitary Authority (Macclesfield Borough Council, Congleton Borough Council, Crewe & Nantwich Borough Council
and half of Cheshire County Council)
I have also delivered the following major programmes without using
MSP:
Capital Programme - Congleton Borough Council
Refit Programme - The Co-operative Group
Somerfield Rebranding Programme - The Co-operative Group
Small Works Programme - The Co-operative Group
Asset Renewal Programme - The Co-operative Group
Small Works Programme - The Co-operative Group
Refit Programme - Steinhoff
Rebrand Programme - Steinhoff
I have also introduced MSP Programme Management methodology into organisations, including developing
the roll out programme and supporting and coaching programme managers as they transition from project management roles
